1. Olive snail.
At low tide across some sand flats in Netarts Bay you may encounter meandering and crisscrossing trails of the beautiful little purple olive snail.

2.  Beach Hoppers or Sand Fleas
They are beach hoppers or sand fleas, small, highly mobile crustaceans that inhabit the wave-washed beaches between the Capes.

3. Western sand dollar
The Western sand dollar Dendraster excemtricus, an Echinoderm and a close relative of sea urchins and more distantly of starfish, lives in dense beds in the quieter waters on the western side of Netarts Bay.
